What is EarthX?

EarthX is an international nonprofit that brings people and organizations together to take action for a more sustainable future.

It began in 2011 as Earth Day Dallas, started by Trammell S. Crow, and grew into one of the largest environmental gatherings in the world. Each April in Dallas, leaders in energy, conservation, investment and policy meet across party lines, side by side with scientists, students, business owners, community groups and the people doing the work on the ground. Many projects have found their first partners there.

The man who built the stage

Trammell S. Crow

EarthX began in 2011 as Earth Day Dallas, started by Trammell S. Crow with a simple idea: give the people doing the work a place to be heard. On November 6, 2026, he turned 75, and friends around the world are writing a book of thanks for his 76th birthday.
